Happy Mabon!!! How do you celebrate?

Reading LJ's post this morning got me thinking.
What do you do for Mabon? What traditions do you have? What rituals do you perform? Do you have any Mabon recipes that you would like to share? Do you have any links about Mabon that you would like to pass along? Along with the spirit of Mabon I am in much need of gathering info and feasting on it lol Since I have no set traditions or rituals I would love to hear all of yours, maybe even adopt one or two ;) Help a newbie out people! LOL

LOL Great minds think alike. I did some research in my books and online and posted a blog about Mabon today. I don't know if it's exactly what you are looking for, but it might give you a few ideas. :)

oh did you come to the right place. lol. I'm what I call a Library Witch- research is my thing. Here's some links that I personally use for holidays:

Me personally, I'm going to have a big family feast with a nice invocation I found. That and making decorations with the kids that can do double duty for samhain.
Merry Mabon!

I'm not much help as I'm a newbie. This is my first Mabon. But I created a 'harvest' altar, made a feast of foods being harvested right now, and a couple rituals tonight (primarily banishing ones) which seemed appropriate for the season.

The good thing is, there's no way to mess up a sabbat as long as you're happy with your plans. :)

Happy Mabon!

I love to get outside on Mabon as much as possible. Here in Calif., it's been hot.

Today I was up at dawn, watered the yard & lovely plants, meditated outside, had coffee & breakast by the flowers & herbs. Had the day off work, so went to the beach where it was chilly & foggy - a marvelous contrast to my inland home just 30 miles away. Had an outdoor picnic at the beach w/freshly picked strawberries for that we bought nearby on the coast. Now I get to read your blog - a perfect day! If you want to read mine, I'd be flattered :-)
